Strategic foresight is not prediction. It is the disciplined practice of widening the field of possible futures, so that leadership teams can make present decisions with their eyes open.
I work with leadership teams on scenario development, futures literacy, and foresight engagements that go beyond the standard two-by-two matrix. The work draws on established foresight methodologies and on the more interesting edge of the field, where futures thinking meets ecology, technology, and the deeper questions of what kind of organization, and what kind of world, we are actually building toward.
Engagements take several forms: facilitated foresight workshops with leadership teams, scenario development for strategy cycles, executive briefings on specific futures (the future of work, AI and organizational design, regenerative business models), and longer foresight residencies for organizations holding particularly complex strategic questions.
